On May 9, the day before our soft opening of BrewDog Franklinton, our construction dumpster caught fire. So opening this amazing bar was, quite literally, a dumpster fire of an event. In true BrewDog fashion, not even a dumpster fire could keep us from an epic opening weekend. Rather than letting that memory fade into the ages, we chose to immortalize it in the only way we know how--by turning it into a beer!
Franklinton Dumpster Fire is a subtlely smoky Gose with tons of fire red raspberries. 3.5% ABV, tart, mouth puckering and deliciously tongue-in-cheek. On Wednesday, July 11 at 6:30 pm we'll hold a release party at BrewDog Franklinton with limited edition Teku glasses and art prints by Craig Fisher for the first 125 folks to buy a ticket. After tapping the keg for the release event, it will be available for public sale that evening at Franklinton and the following day at BrewDog Short North and DogTap.
